Media Library memory!
Some of you are saying you’ve run out of memory to upload pictures for your blog.
If you aren’t already, you need to be saving your images for web.
1. open image in photoshop
2. Image>Image size> change resolution to: 72. Under pixel dimensions, change the width or height to the exact size you need: for example 600px wide (width of blog post). Click OK.
3. File>Save for Web & Devices and then save as a jpeg at medium or high quality. This will make the file size miniscule.
If you save all your pictures for web, then your media library quota should be more than enough.
If you have already used up your quota and can’t upload anything else, you might consider signing up for an account at photobucket.com (a free image hosting service)
Hey all,
If you have large images and need to upload alot of them then i recommend doing the instructions above, but then save them as .png instead of .jpeg. You get the same quality if not better and for the most part the images will be smaller.
Then use PNGCrush to crush the images, you dont lose any quality but it removes all the empty information from the file which leaves you with barely noticable filesize.

//For Windows Users//

Note: I did not make this GUI but if provided by Wam3483 from http://goldenstudios.or.id/forum/member.php?action=profile&uid=1470
//For Mac Users//

Note: This is a port of PNGCrush for Mac, i have not tested it but it should work similar to the original.
If you need any help then just give me a shout
